My books are all stand alone - you don’t have to read them in any order. But if you want to know what’s what and which came first and who is related to who … read on.
RELATED: THE ABDUCTION OF JULIA, A BELATED BRIDE and THE SEDUCTION OF SARA.
The first book I ever sold was THE ABDUCTION OF JULIA. In TAOJ, the hero’s best friend was Lucien Devereaux, the Duke of Wexford, who is the hero of A BELATED BRIDE. In TAOJ, the villain was Nick Montrose, the dissolute Earl of Bridgeton, who is the redeemed hero in THE SEDUCTION OF SARA.
THE TALISMAN RING SERIES:
Book I - AN AFFIAR TO REMEMBER
Book II - CONFESSIONS OF A SCOUNDREL
Book III - HOW TO TREAT A LADY
Book IV - AND THE BRIDE WORE PLAID
Book V - LADY IN RED
The Talisman Ring Series features Sara’s five brothers from TSOS. These black haired, blue eyed charmers find themselves with their beloved mother’s ring. The ring is supposedly enchanted and will lead the owner to his or her true love, a myth that none of the brothers believe.
But still . . . just in case the fable might have a little truth to it, the brothers run from the ring like groomsmen who see the bouquet coming their way at a wedding. Unable to just get rid of it - it was their late mother’s favorite ring - they instead trick one another into taking it.
Thus, each book in The Talisman Ring Series starts with one brother getting the ring and ends with another brother being tricked into taking it - the hero of the next book.
Book I is about Anthony Elliot, Sara’s (from TSOS) half brother, the Earl of Greyley. I loosely based this book on The King And I, one of my favorite stories. The book is titled AN AFFAIR TO REMEMBER.
Then comes Book II featuring Brandon St. John, whose story is told in CONFESSIONS OF A SCOUNDREL.
Following that we have Book III, Chase St. John’s story, a sort of Cinderella story, HOW TO TREAT A LADY.
Book IV is Devon St. John's story which is my version of Snow White complete with a beautiful maiden who lives in a cottage deep in the woods, only this maiden is protected by seven hulking Scotsmen instead of those annoying singing dwarfs.
Then, wrapping up the series is Book V, Marcus St. John's story. Just wait until you see what - or rather who - happens to the powerful and ruthless Marquis of Treymount.
